## Experience

- Bajaj Finserv Health, July 2023 to now. Software Development Engineer Intern from July 2023 to June 2024, Associate Software Development Engineer from July 2024, and now Software Development Engineer.
  - Designs and builds asynchronous features on Kafka, with retries, dead-letter queues, Redis and in-memory caching, and multi-step business workflows.
  - Builds and maintains Spring Boot microservices, and works on production debugging and distributed tracing.
  - Cut service startup time roughly in half.
  - Automated parts of the release process with Azure Pipelines, OpenAPI/Swagger contract generation and custom scripts.
  - Takes part in architecture reviews for new backend modules.
- Angrybaaz Services, frontend development intern, November 2022 to January 2023. Built UI components for a Figma plugin using React, TypeScript and the Figma API.

- [TeamTakes](https://teamtakes.app): Opinionated polls and play-money prediction games for engineering teams. Live. Each team gets its own subdomain, and row-level security in Postgres (self-hosted Supabase) limits every query to the user's own teams. A leak test checks that one team can't read or change another team's data. Built with TanStack Start (React 19), Docker Compose, Traefik and Cloudflare.
- [ScenePilot](https://github.com/jagritvats/scenepilot-public): An AI assistant director that reschedules film shoots when plans change, built for Google Cloud's Agentic Cinema hackathon in 2026. Gemini agents built with Google ADK research a disruption using Parallel's web APIs and suggest new schedules. A deterministic rule checker rejects schedules that break a permit window, a noise curfew or the available daylight. Python, FastAPI, Next.js 16, Cloud Run, more than 600 tests. - [Synpse](https://web.synpse.app): An AI companion with long-term memory, on the web, Android and Telegram. The Android app has over 500 installs on [Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.synapy.app). Memories are ranked on six signals, and a background job consolidates them every four hours. Next.js, Express, TypeScript, MongoDB, LangChain, Expo.
- [ResidentOps](https://residentops.synpse.app): An agent that handles maintenance issues for a residents' association, built for AWS's Agents for Humans hackathon. Python, Strands Agents, Amazon Bedrock. [Code on GitHub](https://github.com/jagritvats/residentops-pb)
- [Parley](https://parley.synpse.app): Lets two AI agents from different vendors talk in a shared room. Their claims have to cite evidence, and the meeting minutes are put together from the event log. TypeScript, Hono, MCP, React.
- [SAMAY](https://samay.synpse.app): Helps people in India respond to online fraud and prepares a report to file on cybercrime.gov.in. Built for the Build What Moves India hackathon. Next.js, Postgres.
- Presentic: A command-line tool and MCP server that makes narrated demo videos from a JSON plan, using Playwright and Remotion. Private repository.
